is the new deadline to file your taxes and pay what you owe to the IRS.

ATTENTION: COVID-19 STIMULUS PACKAGE CHECKS UPDATE

  • Payments:

    • Checks will be sent out in about 3 weeks

    • $1,200 per taxpayer filing single or head of household

    • $2,400 for married filing jointly

    • $500 per dependent (16 and under)

  • Income Limits:

    • Single: must make less than $75,000​

    • Head of Household: must make less than $112,500

    • Married Filing Jointly: must make less than $150,000

    • If income is higher than the limits listed above, payments will be reduced $5 for every $100 over the limit. 

  • To Qualify:

    • Must have a Social Security Number​

      • ITINs do not qualify

    • Payments will be based on 2019 tax returns.​

      • Otherwise, it will be based on your 2018 tax return instead.​

    • If you haven't filed a tax return for 2018 or 2019, non-filers can use the Free File tool to submit information to the IRS to receive payment.
